IDEX Corporation opens a new facility in Savli, Vadodara, India

Vadodara, Savli, November 17 – IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX) today announced the opening of the IDEX Fluid & Metering Pvt. Ltd. Greenfield facility, located in SAVLI, VADODARA, India.
The IDEX Savli plant is “state of the art” facility of about 170,000 sq feet area out of which 40,000 sq feet is production area already. We have invested about $4 million in the first phase of this facility and will continue to make investments in India in phased manner. This facility provides a shared manufacturing platform for all IDEX Business Units to carry-out production with our focus on designing, developing and delivering local products to the local markets based on the local customer requirements and market demands.
We are here at Savli, to manufacture various products such as:
1) Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps
2) Dispensing Machines
3) Flow meters
4) Compressors
5) Fire & Rescue Tools
……… taping 3 of our 4 organized business sectors and will cater to nice market applications in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food Processing, Water & Waste water applications, Paint tinting machines, rescue tools etc.
